Melissa Varjan, LMT, is the founder and practitioner behind New Jersey Orthopedic and Sports Massage (NJOSM) in River Edge, NJ. Her path to massage therapy began through a background in fitness, yoga instruction, and personal training, during which she observed how frequently clients suffered from unresolved injuries and biomechanical dysfunction. Driven to address those root causes, she pursued formal massage training and licensure in New Jersey. Melissa holds advanced credentials including Orthopedic Massage Therapist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Contemporary Cupping Therapist, KT Taping Specialist, and Prenatal Specialist. Her approach combines in-depth assessment with targeted soft-tissue techniques to uncover and correct the underlying source of pain, helping clients restore function and return to peak performance.
