Stan Shimizu is a 3rd generation practitioner of Sennin-So Shiatsu, a unique form of shiatsu founded by his grandfather, Sengo Shimizu. This traditional Japanese bodywork technique focuses on restoring balance to the body by improving the flow of qi (energy) through finger and palm pressure. Stan apprenticed under his father Roy, who worked alongside Sengo, learning the family's healing tradition that has been passed down through generations. He is a licensed massage therapist in Washington State, practicing in Seattle's Madrona neighborhood.
