Tessa (she/they) is a licensed massage therapist and registered hypnotherapist who centers trauma-informed care in her practice. She holds a BA in Psychology from The Evergreen State College and integrates this education with therapeutic massage training. Tessa became interested in the link between trauma and the body after attending Bessel Van Der Kolk's trauma conference in 2017. She has received education in Internal Family Systems therapy, Hakomi therapy, Polarity therapy, and Polyvagal Theory. Her work is informed by community healing models including restorative justice and recovery programs. Tessa is passionate about social justice and mental health, striving to provide safe, accessible bodywork for all clients.
